Week 2 Was a Major Fail - Here's to Week 3

So my first week was great! I did all the practices, I worked out 3 times, I felt good, motivated, and totally on top things.

The second week (last week) was the total opposite. I was busy, which made me unmotivated because I just wanted to relax, and I let myself fall into the laziness that I so lovingly try to convince myself is self-care. I didn't do any of the spiritual practices (aside from reading the intro of that week), and I did not workout. Ugh.

So, here we are, the beginning of the week three and I think it's off to a better start. I started with yoga yesterday morning, I lead a yoga class on campus today (yoga for gratitude), and I feel more motivated than last week. I think last week I was thrown off by how busy I was, like it was unexpected (it wasn't). But this week I am planning a bit better.

HOWEVER, this week is super busy too and I really want to stay on track. So if you're reading this and you think about, check in with me! Don't let me be lazy!

This week I started a graduate leveling class as I start working toward doctoral studies, so that's taking a lot of my "free time," plus I am running auditions for the show Clay and I direct 2 nights this week, there is a Campus Ministry event this week that I'll be staying late for, plus normal life things. So, it's a bit busy - but I'm going to try my best to stay on top of things. I'm "failing forward" - learning from the previous week and moving forward.

What are some motivators for you? How do you stay on task? I'd love to hear about it!
The more tips and tricks I can learn the better ;)
